Administrators appear to have their priorities straight. “Free” is not important. I put “free” in quotes because you always pay in one way or another. Academic standards and learning potential are the highest priorities for administrators. While teachers have learning potential as number one, the second place is a near tie between “free” and “fun and engaging.” It’s too bad that these two latter attributes are combined because “fun” is not the same as “engaging.” The latter is very important; the former is unnecessary and may be distracting.
