Achieve3000, the maker of online differentiated literacy programs, just released an iPad app that allows students to build critical literacy skills on the go, anywhere, anytime. With the Achieve3000 App, students learn with Achieve3000’s differentiated content, in a form accessible for all learners. The app uses multi-touch technology to make reading complex texts an intuitive exercise. Featuring embedded audio, VoiceOver, Speak Select and Guided Access, the app offers support for struggling learners, English language learners (ELLs) and special needs students. Their solutions have been available to students at anytime of the day through an Internet browser, but the new app extends the reach of the classroom, allowing students to complete work anywhere their iPads can go. All offline activity completed on the app will sync automatically once an Internet connection resumes, allowing students to seamlessly transition across multiple devices. The Achieve3000 App is free to users with a current Achieve3000 subscription to KidBiz3000, TeenBiz3000, or Empower3000. The Achieve3000 App can be implemented using iOS mobile device management solutions for education so setup is quick and easy. Available at: http://appstore.com/achieve3000.
