Educators are a precious resource that should be treated as such is what the people at Odysseyware believe. Providers of online and blended learning, credit recovery support as well as career and technical education (CTE), this company has listened to their users and what they need. At FETC 2014, the company unveiled its brand new Student Experience (User Interface), which has made these educators’ wants and needs a reality. The new design is more intuitive and feature driven, ensuring that the time students spend on the platform is time spent learning. In addition to being the access point to Odysseyware’s K-12 standards aligned courseware and assessment and remediation tools, the new Student Experience was designed to further promote collaboration and communication between teachers and students by including a notes feature and enhanced flexibility for students to receive customized instruction for individualized learning. Again, keeping the educator in mind, they’ve also built day-planning functions into the platform, to free up more time for student engagement. What is a new Student Experience without new content? As users log in to the new platform for the first time, they will see several new CTE courses available, including courses in STEM and Agriculture. To complete the rollout of their new design, leadership at this company has also unveiled a brand new look for the company, which they feel more accurately reflects the company’s energy and enthusiasm for creating smarter online curriculum for the students and educators they serve.
